Vaché Petrossian, BA
Director, RSA Foster Partners China

Vaché joined Foster Partners RSA Executive Search in 2009 as Director of Greater China where he is responsible for developing the domestic business within all sectors of Life Sciences including but not limited to Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Biotech, and CRO's.

Prior to joining Foster Partners RSA, Vaché worked for MRI China Group for four years where he established and grew a successful Life Sciences recruitment practice. He has filled over 50 mid to senior level positions for a client base that includes Top 10 Global and Small to Mid Size Pharmaceutical Companies, Medical Device Companies, Start-up Drug Companies, Biotech Companies, API and Generic Companies.

Before his move to China, Vaché worked as an Instrument Specialist with Codman & Shurtleff (a Johnson & Johnson company) for more than two years where he covered over 200 hospitals and surgery centers in Northern California and worked closely with various types of surgical departments including General, Cardiovascular-Thoracic, Orthopedic Spine, and Vascular.

Upon completion of his Bachelor of Arts in History from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Vaché spent his early career working for a document management company (Lanier Worldwide) in both Los Angeles and San Francisco before joining the Medical Devices Industry in 2003.

Coco Fan, BA

Coco Joined Foster Partners RSA Executive Search in 2009 as Consultant where she is responsible for developing the domestic business within the Pharmaceuticals sector.

Prior to joining Foster Partners RSA, Coco worked as Senior Business Consultant for TMI Business Consulting (China) for three years. In that role, she worked very closely with some Fortune 500 companies and other industry pioneers (E.g. Thermo Fisher, SGS, Husky) to deliver customized business solutions to improve her clients' business development strategies.

Upon completing her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Shanghai JiaoTong University, Coco worked as Sales Manager with a big foreign event organization Co. for the first three years,and later joined John Hancock Tian'An Life Insurance Co., Ltd as Sales Manager. There, she attended the "Hong Kong-Macao Summit Meeting" in 2004, which is an annual honorable reward given to the top sales achiever in John Hancock China.

Trevor McCormick

As President & CEO of Foster Partners, Trevor McCormick directs Asia executive search offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Tianjin, Ningbo, Hong Kong and the South East markets of Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Ho Chi Minh.

Foster Partners LLP was established in 1989 as the successor to KPMG Peat Marwick's US Executive Search practice and in order to further develop and manage its business in Asia, Foster Partners (Asia) was formed in 1999.

Prior to establishing Foster Partners (Asia), Trevor was Director in Charge of KPMG Hong Kong's Executive Recruitment practice. Trevor's personal areas of functional expertise include Asia President, Managing Director and General Management in addition to regional (Asia) and global Finance/Financial Control, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Sales and Marketing, HR and Supply Chain senior leadership positions. His primary client focus has been in serving US multi-national clients.

Trevor has executive search experience in all major Asia and US centers, but specifically in China where he was a pioneer in the executive search industry in the early 1990's. He has published numerous articles related to the recruitment and retention of leadership in China and is a regular guest speaker and panelist at prominent events both in Asia and North America.

Prior to joining KPMG Hong Kong, Trevor had a sixteen year career with HBOS PLC in the UK.

Nick Stephens, LLB
Chief Executive Officer, RSA

Together with the Board Nick is responsible for the strategic direction of RSA. He leads the development of the RSA business, driving the creation of new subsidiaries across the world and supporting the development of new value added services. As the business has grown Nick's personal search work has reduced to the point where he only conducts three to five "C Level" searches each year, though he contributes to RSA searches across the globe wherever he can.

He has been a Director of RSA since 1986 and joined the business full-time in 1995.

Before committing fully to RSA Nick gained broad commercial experience in various roles in metals trading, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and the British National Health Service.

Nick studied Law at the University of East Anglia and Business at Cranfield.

Skott Burkland
Member, Board of Directors

Skott Burkland graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1964, where he majored in Political Science. He did postgraduate work in Business Administration and Finance at Rutgers University and Drexel University.

He was a Vice President with Wilkinson, Sedwick & Yelverton, a prominent A.E.S.C. West Coast-based executive search firm, prior to founding Skott/Edwards Consultants in 1974. He had been Vice President of Personnel for the United States Consumer Products Division of the Singer Company and also served the company as Worldwide Director of Recruiting.

In addition, he was a Personnel Officer with the Operating Group of Citibank in New York City, and a Manager of Recruiting for W.R. Grace & Co., in New York City. He has been a member of the management committee of Penrhyn International, a partnership of twelve (12) executive search firms with offices throughout the world. He has served the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) for seven years as a Member of the Board of Directors and has been a member and co-chair of the Ethics Committee.

The New Career Makers, authored by John Sibbald, Editions 1, 2 and 3, lists him as one of the top 100 Executive Recruiters in the United States, and Nancy Garrison-Jenn included him in her book "The Global 200 Executive Recruiters – An Essential Guide to the Best Recruiters in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America."
